Dr. Naomi Richards
Managing Director
Dr. Naomi Richards is the owner, director and heart behind the Conscious Control Curriculum, a program lovingly created after experiencing her own parenting journey with children who have additional needs.
With a strong background in education and research, Dr. Naomi graduated with honours from Charles Sturt University and has continued to extend her knowledge ever since. In 2024 Dr. Naomi proudly completed her PHD on how the Conscious Control Curriculum can be used effectively in classrooms (‘Validating, Implementing and Generalizing the Conscious Control Curriculum for Classroom Intervention’).
These days, Dr. Naomi fills any spare time she has writing a book designed to bring the 3Cs to life for children and their caregivers—making her vision even more accessible to families everywhere.

Ainslie Burgess
Administration and client support
Ainslie is the warm, organised, and friendly presence behind the scenes at The 3Cs. Holding Diplomas in both Community Services and Financial Services Ainslie brings over 20 years of experience in client-focused roles across insurance and community services, including overseas volunteer work supporting disadvantaged children.
As a parent of a child with special needs, Ainslie understands the challenges and triumphs of navigating the disability sector and is passionate about supporting families and individuals on similar journeys.
When she’s not keeping The 3Cs running smoothly, you’ll find Ainslie curled up with a good book, enjoying time with her family, or out and about with their much-loved Therapy dog, Hunter.
